DAMAC Group, a leading luxury real estate developer, has announced the launch of its new global services arm, DAMAC Shared Services India (DSSI), with strategic capability centres in Noida and Pune.

The centres will enhance the Group’s global operations through world-class talent and integrated support services, leveraging India’s world-class technology, digital, and business services talent base.

The Noida and Pune centres will play a critical role in core business functions, including finance, operations, sales, marketing, HR, projects, commercial, digital, and others.

A multi-phased hiring strategy is underway, with a forecasted 250 employees in Noida and 100+ employees in Pune by 2026.

We are committed to building high-performing teams by 2026, delivering leading services to support DAMAC’s global ambitions,” Hussain Sajwani, Founder of DAMAC Group, said.

Noida has emerged as a potential GCC hotspot in India, with several companies setting up their global capability centres in the city. The city’s proximity to Delhi, infrastructure, and talent pool make it an attractive location for companies looking to set up GCCs.

“DAMAC Shared Services in India is a start and initiation of the vision to tap into the talent and the quality of delivery which India offers directly based in the country.  As we begin the countdown to open the first Shared Services Center for Damac in India. We also are a part of the large microcosm of GCC boom. Very happy to spear head this Global Capability Centre – from inception to now opening and then to foreseeable growth for DAMAC Group,” Shirin Sehgal, Vice President, DAMAC Group, said on a LinkedIn post.

India’s GCC ecosystem has witnessed significant growth in recent years, with over 1,300 GCCs set up in the country. The ecosystem is expected to continue its growth trajectory, driven by increasing demand for digital transformation, AI, and data analytics.
