Heineken Appoints Pradeep Gupta as Head of Legal & Compliance for Hyderabad GCC
Pradeep Gupta, to lead the Legal and Risk Management functions for Heineken’s Hyderabad GCC, brings two decades of experience in governance and privacy laws.
Heineken, the Dutch multinational brewing company, has appointed Pradeep Gupta as Head of Legal & Compliance for its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. Gupta brings nearly two decades of experience in legal, compliance, corporate secretarial, privacy, employment laws, and governance.
As Head of Legal & Compliance, Gupta will lead the Legal, Compliance, Corporate Secretarial, Privacy, and Risk Management functions at HEINEKEN GCC, focusing on enabling business growth while ensuring regulatory adherence and strengthening risk management structures. He joins Heineken from DBS Bank, where he served as Company Secretary and Head – Legal & Compliance at DBS Tech India.
Gupta’s extensive experience includes overseeing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, ethics, investigations, data privacy, and enterprise risk management. He also spearheaded large-scale compliance initiatives, including anti-fraud policies and internal investigations.
Pradeep Gupta is a qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) and holds an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He has completed a PG Diploma in Cyber Laws from NALSAR University and is a DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor (DCPLA). Gupta has also undertaken leadership programs from IIM Ahmedabad ¹.
