The upcoming facility will prioritise modern, sustainable, collaborative design, reflecting findings that most Indian employees favour office returns driven by teamwork-focused culture.

JLL, a global commercial real estate and investment management company, has signed a lease for a 120,000 sq ft office facility in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The new space will serve as the company’s second strategic hub in India and is expected to create more than 1,600 highly skilled positions focused on advanced business operations by the end of Q1 2026.

The facility, spanning two floors in the Prestige Sky Tech building, will house JLL Business Services (JBS), the company’s global operations delivery platform. JBS is a Global Capability Centre (GCC) that delivers advanced analytics, technology-enabled solutions, and strategic advisory services to support JLL’s worldwide client operations.

The Hyderabad location is strategic, offering world-class infrastructure, an abundant skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies that support complex global operations while maintaining competitive costs. Its position within the Financial District will place JLL alongside Fortune 500 companies and global organisations across multiple industries.

The planned facility will feature cutting-edge workplace design, incorporating collaborative spaces, advanced technology infrastructure, and sustainable design elements. According to JLL’s Workforce Preference Barometer 2025, 83% of Indian employees express positive attitudes towards return-to-office requirements, driven by strong cultural values around teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.

This expansion aligns with India’s growing prominence in the GCC landscape, with more than 1,950 GCCs employing over 1.9 million professionals. Cities such as Hyderabad are emerging as key destinations for multinational companies, offering a unique combination of technical expertise, cultural alignment, and cost efficiency.

“India’s emergence as a global innovation hub is powered by the world’s largest pool of STEM talent, with more than 2.5 million graduates entering the workforce annually,” said Dheeraj Popli, Head, Global Service Centre, India, JLL Business Services. “Indian professionals now spearhead cutting-edge R&D, AI development, and complex business operations that directly influence global decision-making.”

“This commitment reflects our confidence in India’s exceptional talent pool and Hyderabad’s emergence as a global business centre,” said Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Centre Officer, JLL Business Services. “We are planning to create opportunities for professionals to contribute to world-class operations that directly influence commercial real estate decisions across global markets.
