Urban Vault Expands GCC Play, secures 21,000-sq-ft of Office Space in Bengaluru
Urban Vault, a managed workspace provider, has expanded its enterprise portfolio by securing leases from three major Japanese firms for 21,000 sq ft of office space in Bengaluru. The new additions bring the total number of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) served by Urban Vault to over 50 across key Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Pune and Gurugram.
The Japanese companies that have signed leases with Urban Vault are Nachi, Pioneer, and Komatsu. These firms are drawn to Urban Vault’s hybrid model, which optimises capital expenditure (CapEx) and reduces operational expenditure (OpEx) while enabling seamless single-window management.
“Urban Vault’s commitment to delivering world-class workspace solutions has been reinforced by the trust placed in us by global giants like Nachi, Pioneer, and Komatsu,” said Amal Mishra, co-founder of Urban Vault. “Japanese companies value precision, reliability, and relationship-driven business models—principles that deeply resonate with us.”
Urban Vault has a portfolio of over 2.8 million sq ft of office space, managing over 70,000 seats across 80 locations in Bengaluru, Pune, Gurugram, and other major cities. The company recorded a turnover of ₹120 crore in 2024-25 and has grown from 40 seats to over 70,000 seats since its inception in 2018.
The demand for managed workspace solutions is on the rise, driven by the growing presence of GCCs in India. Urban Vault’s expansion into new markets and its ability to deliver customised workspace solutions are expected to drive its growth in the coming years.
