The NASSCOM membership marks a milestone deepening engagement while enabling collaboration on Web3, DLT adoption and innovation.

Hashgraph Labs India, the Indian subsidiary of The Hashgraph Group, has become an official member of NASSCOM, India’s leading technology industry association. This strategic move aims to accelerate the adoption of Web3 and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions based on Hedera in India, fostering collaboration with industry leaders, strategic forums, and policy advocacy initiatives.

The partnership will enable Hashgraph Labs India to leverage NASSCOM’s resources, including engineering talent programmes, Global Capability Centre (GCC) roundtables, enterprise use cases, and scalable digital infrastructure development.

The company will contribute to innovation, compliance, and real-world projects, such as Maharashtra’s first State Carbon Bank on Hedera, in partnership with the state government.

“We are delighted to announce that Hashgraph Labs India Pvt. Ltd. – the India-domiciled technology engineering subsidiary of The Hashgraph Group (THG) – is now an official member of NASSCOM (the National Association of Software & Services Companies), India’s leading technology industry association,” Hashgraph Labs said in a LinkedIn post.

NASSCOM is the premier industry body and chamber of commerce representing India’s $283 billion technology sector. It focuses on positioning India as a global hub for IT services and digital transformation, while driving innovation, enterprise collaboration, and policy advocacy.

“This membership is a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing enterprise-grade Web3 and distributed ledger solutions in India. It strengthens our engagement with India’s technology ecosystem and enables collaboration with leading organisations on enterprise adoption, compliance, and innovation initiatives within the Hedera network,” the company said on LinkedIn.

“As part of NASSCOM, we look forward to contributing to technology programmes, strategic forums, GCC roundtables, policy advocacy initiatives, enterprise use cases, engineering talent development, and supporting the growth of India’s digital infrastructure. We remain committed to delivering secure, scalable, and impactful solutions that unlock new opportunities in the global Web3 economy,” the post added.

This membership strengthens Hedera’s commitment to India’s technology ecosystem, promoting enterprise adoption of the platform. Hedera’s features, including speed, security, predictable fees, and carbon neutrality, make it an attractive solution for industries such as decentralised finance (DeFi), sustainability, and supply chain management.

The Hashgraph Group aims to certify 50,000 developers over the next five years and position Hedera as the preferred DLT protocol for governments and enterprises in India. With India’s rapidly growing Web3 ecosystem, experts see the country emerging as a potential global hub for the industry.
