Nestlé Business Solutions to Establish First Indian GCC in Hyderabad
Nestlé Business Solutions (NBS), the shared services arm of the global food and beverage giant Nestlé Group, has announced the establishment of its first Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India. Located in Hyderabad, the new facility is slated to operationalise this year under Nestlé Business Services India Private Limited.
The expansion is part of a strategic move to strengthen Nestlé’s global business services network, allowing the company to build future-ready capabilities and extend broader operational services across various global geographies. The establishment of this centre also marks a significant milestone in Nestlé’s long-term commitment to India’s growing role in the global corporate landscape.
To establish and run the Hyderabad facility, NBS is partnering with professional services and technology solutions firm Genpact. Under this collaboration, Genpact will deploy its capabilities in process intelligence, data, artificial intelligence, and automation. The primary objective of the partnership is to assist Nestlé in simplifying, standardising, and scaling its core business services worldwide.
NBS focuses on delivering end-to-end business solutions, process excellence, and digital capabilities aimed at improving overall efficiency, corporate resilience, and the end-user customer experience. By combining Nestlé’s global operational scale with Genpact’s advanced digital operations capabilities, the Hyderabad centre is designed to function as a technology-enabled, data-driven hub that delivers measurable business impact.
The selection of Hyderabad as the destination for the new GCC highlights the city’s rapidly expanding reputation as a premier global capability destination. The decision was driven by the city’s robust infrastructure, strong technology ecosystem, and deep talent pool.
The hub will integrate domain expertise with digital operations to enhance performance consistency across Nestlé’s global operations. Ultimately, the new facility reinforces India’s position as a critical talent base and capability anchor for the Nestlé Group’s future digital evolution.
